This MnSLFF blog is a platform for us to share with you about our current projects and experiences in Sri Lanka. In this way we can stay connected and express our gratitude for your support, contributions and feedback in our efforts to further develop and enhance our Motherland of Sri Lanka. All of your contributions are deeply appreciated and are at the heart of our operations. It is our honor to pay homage in this way to the land of our ancestors, our childhoods and our primary educations. We left our homes and loved ones behind as we pursued higher educations and greater opportunities to serve mankind and create even greater opportunity for our children. By making these sacrifices we were able to gain much needed exposure to developed nations ideals and standards and have had the opportunity to contribute all across the globe toward a vision greater than we could have ever imagined.
We are always exploring and pursuing ways of offering our expertise to Sri Lanka. Relocating over 14,000 miles away, living in freezing weather for at least 4 months of the year, experiencing an absolutely polar opposite land and people; we return with a broader perspective and a deep appreciation, reverence and passion toward our land and our people. We know that Sri Lanka is a great nation and has all it takes to become prosperous and thriving. This is why we have come together to offer our experience to our homeland.
“Leave this world a little better than you found it and when your turn comes to die, you can die happy and feeling that at any rate, You have not wasted your time but have done your best.” – Robert Baden Powell
